Ellen Espenschied Dickinson has worked as a church musician since 1989. She is currently Director of Music at Norfield Congregational Church in Weston, Connecticut, where she is the organist and director of the Sanctuary Choir and Memorial Handbell Choir.
She also directs the Weston Summer Chorus, which performs at Norfield; and the Jubilate Handbell Choir, which draws its members from the handbell choirs of Norfield Church and nearby Unitarian Church in Westport.
She has directed a number of handbell and handchime choirs, at varying levels and age ranges, and has organized and directed ecumenical and festival choirs. She has been music director at Tabor Lutheran Church in Branford, CT; Simsbury United Methodist Church in Simsbury, CT; First United Methodist Church in Shelton, CT; and St. John's United Church of Christ in Smithton, IL.
